What will my child learn?
-
Our 1- and 2-year-olds are in a combined class, allowing younger children to learn by watching and mimicking the older ones. This approach builds confidence, encourages social interaction, and helps develop listening and motor skills. Through music and movement, they’ll explore important concepts like fast and slow, loud and soft, and when to stop, all while improving coordination and rhythm in a fun, engaging environment.
-
In our 3-year-old class, children will start exploring different types of instruments and their families. They’ll get to see instruments from all four families and may even have the chance to play a few! Alongside this hands-on learning, they’ll continue to enjoy fun music and movement activities, building their rhythm, coordination, and love for music.
-
In our 4-year-old class, children will start learning the names of musical concepts they’ve already experienced. They’ll explore the differences between loud and soft, high and low pitch, rhythms, tempos, timing, and more—deepening their understanding of music in a fun and engaging way!
-
In our 5-year-old class, students will put all their musical knowledge together and take their first steps in reading music. They’ll learn to recognize notes on the page and explore different reading methods, including solfège and the musical alphabet, preparing them for private lessons in any instrument or a lifelong love of music.
